We spent the whole weekend at Lake James and Lake Hickory! We went fishing, we cooked out, we took out a canoe and we went swimming! We had a great weekend!

ABC'S and 123's

Well, apparently my daughter is fully capable of saying her alphabet, her numbers and her colors.  She will sing numerous songs...Just not for me or her daddy.  It is good to know that she can do it! I just really want to hear her do it!

I wanted to get pictures of Lily taken before her birthday this year so they could be used in her invitations.  We went to Glenn Hilton Park in March.  I am not sure of the exact date.  Little did I know...I was already pregnant!

Grandfather Mountain February 2011

 It was very cold on top of the mountain! I believe the temperature dropped 20 degrees~

 Lily was having a blast at the picnic area!

 I had to put Lily in my jacket to keep her warm! I was not as prepared as I normally am!

 Lily had a Marshmallow Sprinkle Stick! I believe she had two...who is counting? :)

We took a last minute trip up the mountain with Lily, Grandma Barbie, Uncle Cody, and "B" ! We packed a picnic lunch, went on the mile-high swinging bridge, stopped and admired the animals and the small museum and gift shop.  We had a fun day.  Too bad the hiking trails were closed! Maybe next time!

First Haircut

 Lily got her first haircut from Marla Brown.  Marla is a friend of Lily's father.  Jeremy and I were both at Lily's haircut.  I kept a locket of her hair.  This was in February 2011.  Her hair has really grown since this picture! Lily did a great job and was all smiles the entire time!

 There is no doubt that Lily loves the beach! She keeps asking to go back! I think we are due for a trip in August! Get ready Aunt Elise! Here we come!
